Who is it for?

Ready to study for the ACCA Qualification?

You can start your journey with ACCA if you have:

  • Five secondary school qualifications (two A-Levels and three GCSEs or equivalent) – including English and maths.

Check if your qualifications meet ACCA’s requirements.

What if you have a degree?

If you have a recognized and relevant finance or accounting qualification, you may not have to take all of the exams on your journey to membership.  You can apply for exemptions.
ACCA’s process of awarding exemptions is very rigorous as ACCA need to ensure that the prior learning matches the skills and knowledge needed for the ACCA Qualification.  This means employers know that ACCA members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed, wherever they started on their learning journey.

What if you don't have the qualifications ACCA asks for?

ACCA is passionate about giving as many people as possible the opportunity to gain the world-renowned qualification.  For those without any relevant existing qualifications, you’ll start your ACCA journey at ACCA Foundation Level. This will give you the base you need to learn more – and you’ll get ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4) when you pass. Then you can start your journey to gaining the ACCA Qualification.

And because of what you’ll learn in your Diploma, you won’t have to take the Applied Knowledge exams – you’ll start at the Applied Skills exams, as the 3 exams are common between ACCA and the Foundation Level.
